NORTHERN LAW

REGARDING THE MONARCHY:

• The Aetherius family has led the Northlands for generations. Their rule has not and shall not be challenged. The first-born son of the King automatically inherits the crown.

REGARDING WRONGDOERS:

• Any horse guilty of treason, murder, theft, rape, or other crimes which bring harm to the inhabitants or the monarchy of the Northlands, shall be banished across the river to the Southlands or over the mountains to whatever mysteries await there.

REGARDING MATRIMONY:

• The Royal Herd is to be a functioning community, not a cluster of harems. Marriages may be arranged for the sake of passing on a certain name, but a single mare and a single stallion are expected to stay together for life. Adultery is severely frowned upon and may result in banishment.

REGARDING THE SOUTH:

• The noble equines of the Royal Herd do not associate with the Southerners. There are to be no deals, meetings, romances, or otherwise between Northlander and Southlander. To be caught doing so would result in banishment beyond the King's Barrier.
