Nearly two hundred years ago doors began opening into the city of Mierse. First one from Oxford and later one from New York. For years these three cities were linked by the doors between their worlds, allowing citizens to travel back and forth. To learn and adventure. More recently, however the doors have shifted and now swing only one way. Those who come to Mierse from elsewhere find the way home barred. How will they adapt to life in a world not their own?

Mierse is a city of magic and daemons- the physical embodiment of a person's soul. Those from Oxford know the phenomenon well, and those from New York may just have the chance to experience its wonder.
