First established in 2011, Ithenia is a realistic equine roleplay with a few twists. Think Game of Thrones meets wild horses :) There are the noble families of the North, ruled over by the King and his Lords. With heritage and prestige dominating these lands, blood is thicker than water. But the wild Southerners do not believe in such things and instead live as they please. Viewed as barbarians by the civilized North, these horses have no ties and no honor. Tensions run high between the two countries, and it is only a matter of time before they boil over.

THE HOUSE OF SAND
THE LORD: The Lord of Sand is second only to the King & Queen of the North. He is equaled only by the Lord of the King's Barrier. He guards the entrance of the North and leads the herd of the The Bonelands. His is the House of Sand.
THE LADY: The Lady of Sand is the chosen mate of the Lord of Sand. Her position is appointed by the Lord. This position cannot be changed and will not be chosen lightly.
THE HEIR: The colt chosen as the Lord's prodigy. He will take over once the Lord retires or dies. This is not necessarily the first born colt, though the first born will be given precedence unless other factors prevent it.
THEIR CLUTCH: Offspring of the Lord and Lady of the House of Sand.
THE VASSAL CLASS
THE VASSAL: The Vassal is the chosen second of the Lord of Sand.
HIS LADY: The Vassals chosen mate. Should be chosen wisely, as changes are subject to dishonor and loss of position.
THEIR PRODIGY: The Vassal's chosen prodigy.
THE VASSAL CLUTCH: Foals born to the Vassal and his Lady.
WARRIORS OF THE SAND
THE COMMANDER: Commands the Army of the Sands. Follows orders given by the Lord of Sand to ensure safety at the border. He receives orders directly from Lord of Sand.
THE CAPTAIN: The Captain is in charge of insuring the the Army of the Sands is properly trained and equipped to safeguard the board. Alongside the Commander he will determine where new stallions and mares are placed with the ranks below.
THE GUARDS: These are the stallions that do the bulk of the fighting should battles, conflicts or all out war occur at the boarder. They guard the main entrances to the South and are the strongest and most capable or pushing back the tide of the South.
THE PATROL: The are the fastest and the stealthiest of the stallions and mares under command of the House of Sand. They patrol the entire border and report any suspicious activity directly to the Lord of Sand.
THE COMMONERS
THE STALLIONS: Herd stallions under the Lord of Sand. Must either be light in carriage or in color.
THE MARES: Herd mares under the Lord of Sand. Must either be light in carriage or of color.
THE COLTS: Male offspring of the herd.
THE FILLIES: Female offspring of the herd.
THE KINGDOMS STANDINGS
ALLIES: Reserved for those who swear fealty to the King.
ENEMIES: Reserved for those who oppose the King, common trespassers, those who demean prominent bloodlines and so forth.
THE PRISONERS: Generally those of the South caught trespassing or those of the North under suspicion of Fraternizing with the enemy or Treason.
THE REFUGEES: Anyone from a notable bloodline requesting temporary safe harbor for various reasons.
