Days gone by - Open

A dark fleck in the near distance immediately caught the pale femmes attention. It seemed to be approaching and before long it was on her, mere strides away. He wasted no time with pleasantries, his voice rolled over her, cool and calm the moment he was within hearing distance. Letting her eye lids flutter down she looked out through lowered lashes, his voice a balm to her solitude. Keeping her eyes all but shut she took a steady step forward towards him, then another. Closing the distance between them till she was but a breath away. Finally allowing her eyes to take him in she rolled her gaze over every inch of his body. She was pleasantly surprised to find he held a frame much like hers, solid from his toes to broad shoulders. With a visible primal shiver she noted that he was her height, if not taller. It spoke to a primal desire to seek out those like herself, like her heritage. Primal it was, for it was not a choice to seek out those like family. It was decided for her, instinct. 

With her gaze downcast Play took another step forward past his shoulder, her nose was run along the air inches above his shoulder, then along the top of his back. Not a whisker grazed him, she left him untouched. Then as she faced away from him, gazing into the distance from where he had come she spoke. Her voice was calm, steady. With an air of uncertainty, as if her thoughts were elsewhere. She spoke only loud enough for the brute behind to hear. " Perhaps the landscape is what gives me my beauty." She paused for only long enough to swivel around to crawl up his side once more, always that inch away from him. Almost touching, she longed to press up against his heat, to feel the soft skin against her own. Yet she held off knowing what reward would wait at the end of every patience moment. " Why, you could take me from this land into one more pleasant and find I have lost all my charm. What ever would you do then? Discard me? Close your eyes? Imagine instead a pretty lass from your past in my place? " Instead of enraging her Play almost lost focus at her own words. Too long had passed since she had wondered across another. Let alone across a brute with questionable intentions. He could be the kindest most honourable man yet she cared little. It was her own words, her own mind that excited her.

With nothing more than a whisper now Play lent close towards the brute, her dark excited gaze searching for his own. " Your move."

Fire licked at every nerve, racing through her insides setting her alight with a passion that had too long been missing. It was almost alarming how quickly her mind shut down, how willing she was to let herself slip into such a state. In a small undiscovered part of her brain she knew this is all she wanted, this moment in purgatory. The anticipation, the what ifs. It was the moment before that she craved above all else. She was beginning to understand the sickness that took her mother and she loathed herself for wanting it to claim her too. The fleeting thought of her kin was enough to almost thwart the desire raging within. Above all else she hated her linage, yet ironically she knew that her life along with her very looks, from her build to her dreaded pelt was the very image of her dam. She stood here, eagerly awaiting a stranger. Longing for the moment that she would forget everything but the task at hand, set her mind free and lose herself amongst the unknown. Lose herself into the very place her mother now lived. 

She had heard whispers of the North, the segregation between lands. It wasn't by accident she had first travelled across their south lands. But before long she knew even the lone at heart would fail to provide adequate entertainment. No doubt sooner rather than later she would work her way across, by whatever means necessary. "Maybe you could take me, we could compare?" For all her distant thoughts the femme had not lost her soft focused tone, she twisted her words, speaking each one slowly as if each held some importance. His maw was inches away, she imagined more than felt his whiskers as she slipped around him. It was all she could do to not stop, to lean into his invisible touch. Fire blossomed anew, as his husky tone hit the air once more. 

"Such high expectations, such grand words for a self proclaimed simple soldier." Unable to stand still, no trusting even her own limbs in a moment like this. She moved away again, this time she danced backwards, her gaze never leaving his she retreated a step or two. Pausing with each backwards stride, as if daring him to follow. Drawing her forward towards her, yet in the same breath dancing away, just out of reach. " Is that what you want Soldier? A constant companion?."  A soft laugh escape her slightly parted lips as she paused. "Now tell me, what is it that you would really like?" It was an invitation more than it was a question. 

ooc; hehe! I am not sure what you were expecting? She is difficult to explain, hence why you need to Rp to understand her. I love her because she is everything and anything, she was exactly what the moment calls for. 

I can't write after a 12 hour shift xD So apologies, I was just keen to get some form of reply up whilst the net was working!
